Life Inside

The cold, gray walls confine you. Time drags. Each day feels the last: a monotonous schedule punctuated by rations and counts. Communication with the outside reality is severely curtailed. Despair becomes your constant accomplice. You fight for meaning in this confined existence.

You try to keep a sense of self. There are glimpses of humanity: a kind guard, a fleeting conversation with another inmate, the rare kindness of a friend. But these moments are short-lived, quickly swallowed by the harsh reality of serving your time.

The weight of your actions hovers over you. Forgiveness feel like distant, elusive fantasies. You question if you'll ever truly find your way out, not just from the bars, but from the psychological confines that hold you within.

Conviction Versus Consequence

A belief is a potent thing. It can fuel actions, ignite passions, and steer us toward our goals. However, each conviction carries with it an inherent responsibility. If one think that barrier can conceal whispers, consider again. Walls, including those other things, are capable of listening. Old stories warn individuals that walls have ears, and while this may seem like a myth, the fact is surprising.

When Innocence Fades
